Street Cry

Street Cry won the seventh Dubai World Cup in 2002. It was his second run in Dubai as he had finished second to Express Tour in the UAE Derby in 2001.

In the Dubai World Cup, the four year old son of Machiavellian out of Helen Street (Troy) beat Sei Mi from Argentina by over four lengths with Sakhee third.

Owned by Godolphin, Street Cry was trained by Saeed bin Suroor and ridden by Jerry bailey. Frankie Dettori was on Sakhee.

The strong eleven horse field also included Agnes Digital and Best of the Bests.

Street Cry became favourite for that years Breeders Cup but did not run.
