Sight Winner

Sight Winner was the surprise but worthy winner of the 2009 Hong Kong Champions Mile in April 2009 at odds of 64-1.

Sight Winner was the longest priced of John Size's four runners.

The five year gelding by Faltaat edged out Egyptian Ra after a battle up the straight on a soggy Sha Tin sunday.

Riding Sight Winner for the first time, Brett Prebble produced a late burst and won by a short-head at odds of 64/1 from frontrunning Egyptian Ra, trained by Tony Cruz and ridden by Felix Coetzee.

The fast-finishing Australian runner Dao Dao finished just a head behind in third and the race hot favourites Good Ba Ba and Collection ran fourth and fifth respectively.
