In the 2010 Hong Kong Cup, three year old English filly Snow Fairy, ridden by Ryan Moore, was a fantastic winner for Ed Dunlop after a year in which she won the English and Irish Oaks and the QEII Commemorative Cup at Kyoto by four lengths.

Snow Fairy started at 5.1-1 and beat Irian by a neck with Packing Winner in third and the 2009 winner Vision D’Etat in fourth.

Hyperion commented “Early in the race I felt that Snow Fairy had given herself too much to do but she settled in at the back second from last and then had to move five deep to start her run, but her turn of foot was awesome. Snow Fairy was the only horse at the meeting to run 400 metres in under 22 seconds. Brett Prebble did everything right on Irian but was beaten by a brilliant winner on the day. I’m looking forward to seeing Snow Fairy again in 2011”.
